Because I Can

by: Allen Domelle

Because I CanMicah 2:1
“Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.”

In the verse above, the sins of Samaria and Jerusalem finally caught up to them. When God described the actions of these people, He chose some very select words to show their depravity. He says that they devised iniquity. In other words, they carefully thought out ways to do wrong. They added to their sin by working “evil upon their beds.” They were immoral, not just at night, but even in the morning. The society of those cities was desperately wicked.

Why would they do such things when they were the cities of God’s blessings? The key to answering this question is found in the last part of the verse when it says, “…because it is in the power of their hand.” They did it because they had the power to do it. They did it because they put no restraint to their desires, feeling or emotions. The absence of self-restraint was their eventual destruction.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Many people think that because they can do something that makes it right. That is the lie of the Devil. Just because you can do something doesn’t make it right. Just because you can hurt someone that you know something about doesn’t mean you should do it. Just because you can push someone out of power and take over their position doesn’t mean you should do it. Just because you can look at something and never get caught doesn’t mean you can do it. Just because you can commit a sin and never get caught doesn’t mean you should do it. The power to do something doesn’t make it right.

Always remember that unrestrained power is dangerous. Every person needs to have something that keeps them in check. What I mean by this statement is that you have to have someone to whom you will listen that can tell you “No”. There must always be checks and balances with power. An executive power without a judicial power becomes a dictatorial power. A judicial power without a legislative power to dictate powers is dangerous. You are living on dangerous ground if you don’t have someone in your life who can tell you that you can’t do whatever it is you are doing. A pastor has to answer to someone. A parent must answer to someone. A leader of any sort always needs someone to whom they answer.

Spring-CreekBC_WatfordThe key to all of this is self-restraint. You must practice self-restraint if you want to keep yourself from destruction. Friend, you may think that you can do something because you have the power to do it, but you will eventually find out that there is a power greater than you who will stop you. You may enjoy the pleasure of doing what you want to do because you have the power to do it, but one day you will rue the day when you didn’t practice self-restraint. There are going to be times when you need to tell yourself, “No!” Don’t ever assume the mentality that because you have the power to do something that means you can get away with it.

Not only must self-restraint be practiced, but accountability must be set into place to keep unrestrained power restrained. Even if nobody else requires accountability, for your own safety and protection you need to set up some form of accountability. Always remember that any power unrestrained is damaging. For your own sake and for the sake of those you love, I implore you to be accountable to someone or something so that you never face the devastation that unrestrained power will bring. Let accountability become your self-restraint.

The Greatest Deceiver

Obadiah 1:3
“The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?”

Edom had exalted herself as a nation that could not be destroyed. She thought that her location in the rocky, mountainous region would keep anyone from being able to destroy her. Yet, it was not the location that destroyed her, it was the pride in her heart that destroyed her. God said, The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee…” Her pride led her to believe that she was too big to be destroyed.

Pride is the greatest deceiver of all. It was the pride of Lucifer’s heart that destroyed him. This is why he tries to get people to believe in their own goodness because he knows if they will have pride of heart that they will destroy themselves. Proverbs 16:18 says it well when it says, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Before a person, institution or nation is destroyed, you will always find a proud heart and a haughty spirit. Pride is the greatest deceiver of all.

The biggest battle you will fight in your life is the battle against pride. This battle will never end. As long as you live in your flesh you will have to battle pride. Our flesh is corrupt by nature, and the sinfulness of our heart wants us to believe that we are good. This is why you must continually watch and battle a proud heart.

Pride has a way of creeping into the life of every individual. One of the ways it creeps in is through false humility. The opposite of pride is humility. The heart will deceive someone of their own humility only to let pride take control their heart. You must be careful that you don’t allow a false humility to control your attitude. A false humility never sees its own faults. The proud heart can see the faults of others, but will never see its own flaws. The proud heart will see what is wrong with another’s family, but it will never see the faults of their own family. The proud heart will see what is wrong with another’s Christianity, but will never see where they are wrong. Watch out for the pride of false humility.

Moreover, a proud heart is one that can come from its own perceived failures. I know this may sound strange, but a person can easily fall into the trap of feeling sorry for themselves. A person who perceives themselves as having poor self-esteem is truly revealing the pride of their own heart. Your own self-esteem means that you are looking at your own goodness and not at God’s. We are nothing of our own, and to feel that our self-esteem is not what it should be is to believe that on our own merit we could be better. This is pride! Don’t let pride deceive you into believing in your own poor self-esteem.

The source of a proud heart comes from having a wrong focus. A proud heart comes from focusing on your own goodness and self-worth instead of on the goodness and greatness of God. When you place your eyes on God, you will find that you don’t really matter. When you are focused on God, you will find it is not hard to admit your perceived flaws because it is not about you but about Him. Friend, don’t be deceived by the pride of your heart. Stop running from obvious flaws through denial and let the denial of those flaws be the alarm to get you refocused on God. You will never have a problem with a proud heart as long as you stay focused on God.

At the Core of Joint Success

Amos 3:3
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

The verse above, though only comprised of a few words, carries a powerful principle as to how two forces can succeed. God reminded Israel how together they were able to leave Egypt, survive the wilderness and conquer the land of Canaan. The way they did it was they walked together in agreement. Yet, because Israel no longer was in agreement with God, He was no longer able to work with them to see mighty works performed. It was the power of their agreement that allowed the mighty works to be done.

If may sound strange that God and Israel together were able to do this mighty work, but it shouldn’t. Yes, God could have shown His mighty power without Israel, but His power was revealed in a greater way because there was an agreement. God could have sent every plague upon Egypt without Israel’s agreement, but together His power was seen to send the plagues and deliver them from the mightiest army on Earth at that time. This was accomplished because they were in agreement. Their agreement that Israel wanted to serve God without being fettered with Israel’s false worship enabled this great success. If this agreement would not have existed, there would be no stories of God’s deliverance.

A very important principle is taught that will keep you from heartache and will allow you to accomplish great successes if followed. At the core of every joint adventure must be agreement. This agreement must include agreement in direction, philosophy, doctrine and opinion. In other words, a person should never go into business with someone else without being sure they are in agreement in these areas. A couple must never choose to get married, much less date each other, if they are not in agreement. Christians must make sure they are in agreement in doctrine and direction before they choose to yoke up with someone. Agreement must be there before you choose to walk with someone.

Moreover, this verse is emphasizing the importance of choosing whether to do things alone or in agreement with someone else. You may agree with someone that something needs to be done, but if you are not in agreement with your core values then you should never join forces. For instance, you may agree with someone that abortion is murder, and it is, but you should not yoke up with someone whose doctrinal and directional positions are different from yours. Agreement in opinion, doctrine and direction is the key to accomplishing things according to God’s standard.

Furthermore, God is also teaching that you need to stay focused on what you agree to, and avoid petty differences. If you walk with someone for any length of time, you are going to have conflicts. The way to keep the conflicts from destroying what is being accomplished is to stay focused on your agreement. If you will stay focused on what you agree on, you can overlook your petty differences and continue to see great accomplishments together.

The next time you must decide whether or not to yoke up with someone, let this principle of agreement be your guide. Be sure that you are directionally, doctrinally and philosophically in agreement before choosing to yoke up together. Yes, there are going to be differences along the way, but if you agree in these three areas, you will have a better chance of accomplishing great things together.

Perpetuating the Harvest

Joel 1:11
“Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.”

The harvest is important to the future of a plant. Imagine if all apple trees never produced one more apple. If that happened, apples would be extinct within a few years. The harvest is important to the perpetuating of the apple tree.

Likewise, the harvest is important to perpetuating Christianity. The goal of every parent should be that their children continue on in the ways of the LORD after they are gone to Heaven. We must never forget that we are one generation away from becoming extinct. All it takes is for one generation to not perpetuate Christianity.

God says in the verse above that “the harvest of the field is perished.” What a sad commentary for the people of God. A nation that should have had the blessings of God upon them for every generation saw their harvest perish. Something had to cause the harvest to perish. Something caused the next generation not to want what their parents had. God shows us the answer as to why the harvest perished in verse 10.

First, the harvest perished because they wasted God’s daily provision. God says the field is wasted because “the corn is wasted.” The “corn” pictures God’s daily provision. God supplied the needs of His people, but they wasted it. Their children thought that God didn’t take care of them. You must be so careful not to waste God’s daily provision. God promised that He would supply your need, and He has, but we can be guilty of wasting what God supplied on things that we don’t need. Many young people see their parents struggle financially and think that God doesn’t take care of His own when in actuality their parents simply wasted God’s daily provision.

Second, the harvest perished because they lost their joy. It says in verse 10, “the new wine is dried up.” “Wine” always pictures joy. Sadly, many young people never experience the joy of serving the LORD because their parents gripe about what all is going wrong. If you want your children to go the way of the world then keep on griping about everything. There is no reason for a Christian to gripe. Many young people have turned away from serving the LORD because they never saw the joy in serving Him. Let me encourage you to make serving the LORD exciting. I know there will be times of struggles, but your children need to see the joyful side of serving the LORD.

Third, the harvest perished because they never saw the power of God work. Verse 10 continues to say, “the oil languisheth.” It is sad that God’s power was not seen in their day. We must do our best to let the next generation see God working in our day. There is nothing wrong with them hearing how God worked in yesteryear, but they need to see Him work today. The only reason God isn’t working today is because we are not giving Him the chance to work. It is not God’s fault that He isn’t performing the miraculous today, it is ours because we haven’t stepped out to see His mighty power come through. When the next generation sees the results of God’s power with their own eyes, they will want to have it for themselves.

The harvest is the next generation. If we are going to perpetuate the harvest, we must be sure these three areas are evident to them. Your children will surely want to serve the LORD if these three areas are evident in your life.

Spiritual Amnesia

Hosea 2:5
“For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.”

When I was in high school, I had the privilege of making the basketball team. The school I attended was a private school that our church had just started. The first year our team was not good at all, but we improved dramatically the second year. At the end of the season was our basketball tournament. We came to the semi-finals of the tournament and played a team that was expected to beat us, but we were able to overcome their size and win. They were not happy at all about this. At the end of that game, I was on a fast break when an opposing player gave me a body block while I was in the air to make a layup. The next thing I remember is seeing people all around me.

They took me to the hospital and ran a head scan to be sure there wasn’t internal damage. The scan came back negative, but the doctor diagnosed me with amnesia. For the next week, my memory was not the best. What I do remember about that time was how I knew I was supposed to know something, but I just couldn’t remember what I felt I was supposed to know. It was the amnesia that kept me from remembering.

In the verse above, it is obvious that Hosea’s wife developed spiritual amnesia. She forgot how good her husband had been to her and thought that the life of whoredoms would be better. Sadly, she left him and her children to go live this wicked lifestyle. The reason she forgot how good her husband had been to her is because she didn’t take the time to remember.

I’m afraid that many Christians have spiritual amnesia. Just like Hosea’s wife forgot how good her husband had been to her, many Christians forget how good God has been to them and how He continues to be good. You must be careful that you don’t develop spiritual amnesia and forget what the LORD has done and is doing for you.

Don’t develop spiritual amnesia with your salvation. I still remember the date and place where I was saved. If you want to keep your salvation from becoming old and stale, you need to constantly remind yourself about that day and what the LORD did for you. Remind yourself what the LORD saved you from. Remind yourself about the joy you received on the day you got saved. Keep it fresh in your mind. Don’t let your salvation become just another event in your life by developing spiritual amnesia.

Moreover, don’t develop spiritual amnesia concerning God’s blessings on your life. You have so many things around you that you have no excuse for not being thankful. Friend, God is good all the time. All you have to do is stop and look at what you have, where the LORD has brought you from, and you will see His blessings. Don’t develop spiritual amnesia concerning God’s blessings.

Spiritual amnesia is the biggest cause for apathetic Christianity. You are going to have to purposely remind yourself of God’s goodness to you if you want to prevent yourself from developing spiritual amnesia. Spiritual amnesia is what makes the world look good and Christianity look boring. Don’t let this develop in your life. The way to keep this from happening is to purposely take the time to remember. Let me encourage you to never let a week or even a day go by without remembering your salvation and God’s blessings on your life.

Confusing Your Surroundings

Daniel 9:8
“O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.”

The Devil is a master at creating confusion. He knows that “whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” (Romans 14:23) One of his major goals is to get God’s people to act in such a manner that creates confusion because when there is confusion there is uncertainty.

Daniel said in the verse above, “O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face…” Daniel looked at the result at what they had done, and he concluded that their actions created a confused society. There were several actions they performed that caused this “confusion of face.” We learn what these actions are by going back to verse 5.

First, sin causes “confusion of face.” One of the results of sin is it creates an uncertainty as to what is right. Many homes live in confusion because of the sin that is allowed. When children are told they can’t live a certain way or do certain things but see their parents committing sin, this creates “confusion of face.” It is no wonder that many homes have become a place of disharmony. Telling people not to do wrong is not good enough, you must also avoid sin. If you want to avoid a confusing atmosphere in your home, your life must agree with what you believe.

Furthermore, the society of a nation will become uncertain when sin is allowed, especially by her religious leaders. Many societies experience uprisings and tumults because sin has created “confusion of face.” You will never have a peaceful society until you remove sin from that society.

Second, departing from God’s commandments will create “confusion of face.” This is the result of sin. Many will simply leave what God commands so they can justify their sinful actions. I’m always amazed as to how so many who used to stand for truth have become antagonistic towards those who continue to uphold truth. The only reason one would change truth is because they are trying to justify their sin. Watch out for those who change definitions of sin or compromise. Their agenda is to justify their sin which creates “confusion of face.” The best response to sin is not to change truth, but to quit sin.

Third, refusing to positively respond to preaching will create “confusion of face.” The reason Daniel’s society had “confusion of face” was because they didn’t hearken unto the prophets who warned them of their sin. They attacked the messengers of God instead of hearing and doing what was prophesied. Attacking the messenger doesn’t change the message of God. You can go after those who proclaim truth, but you are only creating “confusion of face.” To know that someone is a man of God and refuse to obey what he preaches from God’s Word creates uncertainty in those around you. The result of this uncertainty is that people will do what they feel is right leading them towards God’s judgment.

Friend, sin and rebellion always create an uncertain atmosphere. Always remember that the Devil works best in uncertainty. God is a God of absolutes. Repentance of sin and heeding the preaching of God’s Word is the best way to remove the uncertainty in a home or society and creating a peaceful atmosphere.

Before the Trophy Raising

Daniel 1:15
“And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.”

The goal at the end of every competition or challenge is to receive the trophy. Those who pull for the team who won always enjoy watching their team lift the trophy in victory. It is great being part of the team that raises the trophy and to have the bragging rights that you are the champion during the next season. However, before the trophy is raised there are many steps that team had to take that led them to victory. Though we all enjoy the raising of the trophy, most do not want to endure the steps it took to raise the trophy.

Daniel and his friends learned early on in their stay in Babylon the challenges it would take to have victory. They had not been in the country long when they were told they would have to eat the king’s meat and drink his wine. Knowing this was against what God told them to eat and drink, they refused. The verse above is a testament that they eventually experienced victory in this battle, but this was just the beginning of many challenges these young men would face during their stay in Babylon. You will find in this story several steps they took before they raised the trophy in victory.

The first step was a challenge to their core values. You will never experience victory without opposition. Many people want to raise the trophy in victory, but they don’t want to face the opposition it takes to get there. If you always run from opposition when your core values are challenged, you will never experience victory. Opposition is the first step anyone must take before victory.

The second step was that they purposed to stand. When the opposition came, they pushed back. There must be pushback if you are going to see victory. Christian, stop letting the opposition push you around and have the grit to push back. There must be something inside of you that says that you are not going to let the opposition dictate what you are going to do. There must be a purpose in your heart that causes you to push back against them. If all you do is surrender with no pushback, you will never enjoy victory lane. Stand up and push back for what you believe. Don’t let the opposition easily win.

The third step was the proving time. These men had only a short time to prove their God. We tend to be people who want an immediate return on our pushback, but there are going to be times when you are going to be tested to your limits. What you do during the proving time will determine whether you experience victory. Always remember that the proving time is building your strength for future battles.

The fourth step was their prayer time. Though this story does not show them praying, you can look at their character and practice in other testings and see that they always prayed. Victory will never be achieved in the Christian life without prayer. Prayer is what gives you the hope that God will come through. Christian, you can stand and push back when the opposition comes, you can hold on and not quit, but you will fail without prayer. Prayer is the key to achieving victory.

These four steps must be taken if you are going to raise the spiritual trophy in every battle that you face. Always remember that these four steps will be taken along the journey to every victory. The turnout of whatever battle you face today will be determined by what you do in these four steps.

Building the Wrong Wall

Ezekiel 43:8
“In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.”

It is amazing the justification that Israel used in their worship. Instead of choosing one god to serve, they decided they would practice two types of worship. They accommodated this type of worship by building a wall between God’s altar and the altar of the other gods. They felt that this wall was a good enough separation that would keep the peace between God and their gods.

Instead of building a wall to separate the two types of worship, they should have built a wall to keep any other god from coming into their land. They knew that Jehovah God was the God Who delivered them from Egypt, but their desire to mingle with the world brought them to the point where they justified their wall of compromise. The wall of compromise became a wall of judgment. Just because they deemed this type of worship to be okay didn’t mean that God accepted it.

Christian, just because you go to church on the weekends doesn’t justify living worldly during the week. Just like Israel built this wall to enable their compromising life, many Christians have built the same wall. That wall that they built is called a calendar. You often hear people call Sunday, “The LORD’s Day.” Friend, every day is the LORD’s day. Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Going to church on the weekends doesn’t justify worldly living during the week. You can build a wall in your mind to justify this mentality, but God still holds you accountable to how you live 24/7/365.

Another way many have built the wrong type of wall is that they think because they do so much good for God that He will overlook their “pet” sin. God will never justify any sin. God doesn’t look at how much you do in the ministry and say it is okay to continually commit a certain sin. NO! He will judge any sin no matter how much you do for Him. Do you think you are different from King David who God judged because of his sin? Do you think you are different from Samson who continually won battles but continued to live a compromising life? Do you think you are different from Balaam who justified yoking up with Balak because he still prophesied truth? No, God does not justify your little sin because you do “so much” for Him. You can build a wall to separate your service to God from your pet sin in an attempt to justify it, but that wall is still wrong.

One other wall Christians build is a wall of ignorance. Many think that if they claim ignorance that God is okay with their sin. Again, absolutely not! You can bury your head in the sand when you know sin is being committed, but if you don’t deal with it God will judge accordingly. Covering your eyes to sin because you don’t want to deal with it doesn’t justify sinful actions. You must deal with sin.

If you are going to build a wall, build a wall to keep ALL sin and compromise out. Don’t be guilty of putting God on one side and sinful or compromising lifestyle on the other. God doesn’t live in a corner real well. He demands to be in control of all of your life. I challenge you to take these walls down and decide to make God your choice for every minute of every day.

Take a Bath, You’ll Feel Better

Ezekiel 36:25
“Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.”

There is nothing like coming home after working in the heat of the day to a nice refreshing shower. Washing all the sweat and dirt off leaves you feeling better and will even energize you for the rest of the day. Taking a bath is almost like washing the stress and worries off and letting them go down the drain; it changes your perspective for the night.

God says this is what happens when a person gets right. He says in the verse above, “Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness…” What is interesting is the difference that happens in a person when God gives the bath. Verse 26 shows what happens when it says, “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” After taking a spiritual bath, a person will have a whole new outlook on life.

Sin will certainly muddy up life. As much a sin promises, it sure does leave you feeling a whole lot different. How many times have you yielded to sin’s temptation believing it would leave you feeling better only to feel dirty all over? This is exactly why you need to take a spiritual bath, it will make you feel better. Three things happen when you take a spiritual bath.

First, your desires will change. God says that when a person takes a spiritual bath that they get a “new heart.” It is amazing when a person gets right with God how their desires begin to change. The things they used to desire no longer seem to have the same tug on their heart or emotions. The reason is because they have taken a spiritual bath. You can’t tell me you can take a spiritual bath and still desire to do the same things. When God gives you a bath He changes your desires.

Second, when you take a spiritual bath, your attitude changes. God not only gives you a “new heart,” but He also gives you a “new spirit.” When a person gets right, their spirit about the things of the LORD will be different. Where they once used to hate doing the things of the LORD, after their spiritual bath they will want to do the things of the LORD. A spiritual bath will change the whole attitude of a person.

Third, when you get a spiritual bath, your emotions will change. Where before, when you were living in sin, the plight of sinful man didn’t bother you, after taking a spiritual bath you see their need of a Saviour. Where before you didn’t get as emotional over someone’s misfortune, now your heart grieves for those who are hurting. Taking a spiritual bath will change your emotions. Things of the LORD that didn’t excite you before will excite you now. After a spiritual bath, souls getting saved will thrill your soul. A spiritual bath will make the preaching and teaching of the Word of God exciting and leaving you wanting more. A spiritual bath will truly change your emotions.

Friend, everyone needs to take a spiritual bath every day. You take that spiritual bath by reading the Word of God, but also by taking the time to confess your sins to God. There is only one reason anyone would not enjoy serving the LORD, and that would be because they are spiritually dirty. If you take a spiritual bath, you will find the enjoyment you desire in serving the LORD.

The Curse of Blessings

Ezekiel 28:17
“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”

Maybe, the most blessed being in history was Lucifer. He was created and placed in Heaven. He was the perfection of beauty and filled with wisdom. He was an anointed cherub and also had a voice that was like none other. He had the privilege of living in the presence of God and seeing the beauty of Heaven. He was certainly among the most blessed in history.

Sadly, the blessings of Lucifer became his curse. The verse above says, “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty…” The very beauty that God gave him became his source of pride. His wisdom became corrupted because of the brightness of his image. The blessings that God gave him became his curse.

What would cause his blessings to become his curse? His blessings became his curse when he changed his focus to the blessings instead of the source of those blessings. When he dwelt on his beauty instead of thanking God for making him that way, that is when his blessings became a curse. When he focused on his own wisdom instead of realizing from where that wisdom came, that is when his blessings became a curse. Simply put, his blessings became a curse to him once he thought he was the source of those blessings.

One would wonder how anyone could ever forget where blessings come from, but when you look horizontally at the blessing instead of vertically from where they came is when you’ll think you made them happen. It all comes down to the viewpoint. Dwelling on the blessings instead of the source of the blessings will make one believe they are great.

Christian, you must be careful not to turn your blessings into a curse. Everything you have came from God. Your physical features were given to you by God, and you must never focus so much on them that they turn your focus away from God and become your curse. Any beauty that you have should be a reflection of God’s beauty in your life. This society has become so beauty driven that we have turned the blessings of beauty into a curse.

Moreover, you must remember that all wisdom comes from God. Many people have cursed themselves because they thought they were the source of wisdom. Always keep wisdom in proper perspective as to how you obtained it. James 1:5 makes it clear that God is the giver of wisdom. Never become so enamored with your own wisdom that you forget from where it came.

Don’t forget that God can quickly turn your blessings into a curse when you lose focus. Lucifer’s wisdom was corrupted because he thought he was the source of wisdom. Any blessing that God has given you can easily be corrupted when you stop realizing the source of your blessings. Many people have been blessed financially only to see those blessings become their curse. Many people have been blessed physically only to see the physical blessings become a curse.

If you will simply let your blessings be a channel for God to use, your blessings will then continue. However, the very moment you stop being that channel is the moment your blessings will become a curse.
