Please Pray for OPC 2014

Domelle:Gray OPC14Dear Friend,

Bro. Gray and I have planned for the 2014 National Old Paths Conference starting on Monday, March 24-26. We are truly excited about the theme and the lessons that will be taught and the sermons that will be preached. We are especially excited to have Dr. B.G. Buchanan and his wife as our special guests with Bro. Alvin Martinez singing. It is going to be a great conference!

We ask that you would commit this conference to prayer. Only God can make this conference a life changing event. That is what we desire, and I believe that is what the delegates coming desire. Would you please partner with us in prayer over the next few days and ask God to anoint every speaker and session, and that He would work in the hearts of every person who attends? We both covet and appreciate your prayers during this great week.

Thank you for your time to read this and the prayers for which you will pray. We will keep you updated each day as to how the LORD worked.

Sincerely,
Allen Domelle
Evangelist

Please Pray for Deborah Efird

Efird PrayerDeborah Efird is in need of your prayers. Mrs. Efird and her husband, Jimmy, have been members of the West Park Baptist Church in Rockwell, North Carolina, for over thirty years. Mrs. Efird is fighting cancer. She has a cancerous tumor that is too large to be removed at this time. The tumor is so big that doctors are not sure whether or not it is attached to her organs. They need it to shrink in size before they can remove it. She has already had three chemotherapy treatments and is in need of this tumor shrinking before the cancer spreads. Please pray for God’s healing hand on this dear Christian lady and for the doctors to have the wisdom on how to deal with her situation.

Mrs. Efird is the mother-in-law of the assistant pastor at West Park Baptist Church. She and her husband are active members in the church. Thank you in advance for your prayers for Mrs. Efird.

Prayer Requests Update for Karie Owens and Ezequiel Rivera

Owens RecoveryPRAISE THE LORD!

I received word late yesterday that Karie Owens successfully made it through surgery. The doctors feel they have corrected the problem and believe that she will make a full recovery. She is tired, and according to the doctors, it will take some time for her to recover to full strength.

The surgery for Bro. Ezequiel Rivera was also a success. The pain around his neck and left shoulder is gone along with the numbness and tingling in his left arm. He will be under observation for a day due to his blood pressure, and then will be released to go home.

Please continue to pray for both that they will have a full recovery and that they will be able to serve the LORD to their full physical capacity.

Please Pray for this Assistant Pastor

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAEzequiel Rivera is an assistant pastor at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Huntington, WV.  On Wednesday afternoon he will be undergoing surgery on the section of spine in his neck. This procedure is called an “Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.” The doctors will remove the C-5 through C-7 vertebrae and replace them with a prosthesis. His C-4 disc is also damaged, but they are hoping not to have to also remove it so that Ezequiel can keep at least some of his mobility. We ask you to please pray for this servant of God and his wife Rebecca during this time.

Please Pray for Mrs. Karie Owens Heart Procedure

NOwens14Please pray for the Missionary Nathan Owens family. Mrs. Karie Owens is having a procedure on her heart next Tuesday, March 4th, to correct what is called SVT (an abnormal fast heart rhythm that starts in the upper chambers, or the atria, of the heart). The procedure Mrs. Owens will go through uses radio frequency to freeze the abnormal electrical pathway in her heart. Pray for wisdom for the medical staff as they perform this procedure, and that there will be no adverse reactions to this delicate procedure. Pray that this will help cure her health problems and that she will have a complete recovery. We will keep you updated.

Emergency Prayer Request for Pastor Joe Esposito

Pastor EspositoUPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 7

I received a text yesterday from Bro. Joe Esposito’s son, and I thought his words would best explain his father’s condition. I do personally ask that you continue to pray earnestly for Bro. Esposito and for God’s healing. Please be very specific with the conditions that they ask below. Below is what was texted to me:

Good afternoon. Some have asked if we could keep you posted on my dad’s situation. A slight improvement is that he is now taking more breaths on his own, whereas yesterday it was mostly the machine breathing for him. As of this morning, we are still just waiting and praying. My mom did ask me to send a list of specific prayer requests, so I have listed them below. Thank you again for your texts, emails, calls, and most of all, your continued prayer for my dad. As a family, that is our greatest comfort. Have a blessed day.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • No long term damage to his brain
  • Fever to go down
  • Swelling/brain pressure to reduce
(normal pressure is 5-10. His is around 20 still.)
  • Bleeding to stop completely
  • Further surgery needed
  • Wisdom for the physicians

UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 4 at 2 PM

Here is an update on Pastor Joe Esposito given by his son:

Good afternoon. Just wanted to send a short update about my dad. They just finished his second procedure to remove/repair some of the ruptured areas around his brain. They believe they got the critical part removed, but there is still more they need to remove. That all depends upon how his body reacts to today’s procedure. Please continue to pray that his body would react well and we will be able to move forward. Thank you for your prayers, texts, kind words, and love shown to our family. Have a blessed day.

INITIAL PRAYER REQUEST:

Please pray for my friend, Pastor Joe Esposito. Last night he suffered a brain aneurysm. He was in surgery all night, and they said that the first part of the surgery saved his life. However, they had to stop the surgery because of brain swelling. This is a life and death situation. The doctors give him a 33% chance to live. They have scheduled another surgery for 6:30 AM PST. PLEASE PRAY FOR A MIRACLE! This is completely in the hands of God right now. Pray that the doctors will have the wisdom to know what to do, and pray for the family and church during this trying time.

Need Prayer for a Miracle

UPDATE AS OF OCTOBER 9, 2013

This is the update that Pastor Danny Ortiz gave me about Mrs. Karisa Daniel’s condition. Please continue to pray for God to heal her body.

“She came out of the hospital last Thursday. She’s been running a low fever. She had labs done Saturday. Doctors are insisting they see her this Wednesday. They’re trying to get her prepped for the bone marrow transplant. She’s home now, but tomorrow she’s going for another transfusion and platelets. We need a miracle!”

INITIAL PRAYER REQUEST

Almost a year ago I asked prayer for Karisa Daniel, the wife of Kelly Daniel, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Bro. Daniel is an assistant pastor for Dr. Danny Ortiz at the Iglesia Bautista Fundamental. Mrs. Daniel has had a relapse of cancer, and Bro. Ortiz told me this morning a miracle is needed. I ask you to earnestly pray for this dear lady that God would see fit to heal her of the cancer.

Ashley Heidenreich Update August 29

Ashley enjoying REAL food. Finally getting her appetite back.
Ashley enjoying REAL food. Finally getting her appetite back.

I talked to Bro. Sam Heidenreich and he informed me that they let Ashley come home from the hospital. He asked that you continue to pray for her as she recovers. She still has several doctors appointments so they can check her blood to be sure the Dengue Fever is not returning. Praise the LORD for the answered prayers. Thank you for all the kind texts, emails and prayers concerning Ashley. We ask that you continue to pray for strength to recover.

Ashley Heidenreich Update

Ashley Aug 24 UpdatePlease continue to pray for Ashley Heidenreich. Ashley’s mother gave us an update that her platelet count is still dropping. The next 72 hours are crucial that she doesn’t start bleeding inside. Please pray this doesn’t happen. Ashley’s condition is serious enough that her doctor flew back early from her vacation when she was informed that Ashley gums had been bleeding. If her platelet count continues to drop, they may have to give her a blood transfusion. Thank you for your prayers, emails and texts of support. Please pray that her condition will turn for the better.

Missionary’s Daughter, Ashley Heidenriech, Needs Prayer

Ashley_JPPlease pray for Ashley Heidenreich, the daughter of Missionary Sam Heidenreich and my niece. The Heidenreich’s are missionaries to the Philippines. Ashley has contracted Dengue Fever and she is in a very critical stage. Bro. Sam Heidenreich told me early this morning that her fever is coming and going and that her platelet count is very low. The doctor told them that they have to be careful because this strain of fever can cause her to bleed inside. The next 48 hours are critical. Please pray that God will intervene and heal this young lady.
