The one thing we must always remember when it comes to these hard questions is that God does not think like we think. God always acts according to His Word.
The Scriptures say in 2 Corinthians 5:8, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” Notice that as soon as we die our soul will be in Heaven. So the answer to your question is immediately. There is not time for penance for all sins were paid for when she accepted Christ. Let me remind you that Moses was a murderer as well. Also, remember that when the thief on the cross accepted Christ, Jesus said to him in Luke 23:43, “…Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
